Summary:

CHR Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key projects in the Southern Region, focusing on National Highways Area 3. From minor civils to turnkey packages, your role will encompass civils, lighting, and technology aspects on the strategic road network. Join our growing client, responsible for site safety, compliance, and delivering excellence in safety, quality, and sustainability.

Requirements:

• Engineering Project Experience: Proven track record in working on engineering projects within strategic road networks.
• CSCS Black Card & SSSTS
• NEC Contract Expertise
• Knowledge of roadside technology and traffic signals.
• Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills for seamless collaboration.
• Pressure Handling: Ability to thrive under pressure in a collaborative environment.
• Leadership Skills: Self-motivated with effective team motivation and leadership abilities.
• Educational Background: Degree or HNC qualification (not essential but preferred).

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee physical construction activities as directed by the Area Manager.
• Supervise on-site teams, ensuring timely completion of daily and weekly reports and documentation.
• Contribute to design buildability and ECI.
• Efficiently plan and program resources, plant, and timely material procurement
• Ensure works are completed on schedule, within budget, with a focus on profitability and sustainability.
• Conduct site audits and quality checks to maintain a safe work environment.
• Monitor work quality, minimizing significant defects.
• Embrace and drive new initiatives.
• Encourage reporting of accidents, incidents, or near misses among employees.
• Attend Customer/Stakeholder meetings.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £40,000.00 per year
