Job Purpose:

To manage and delivery of change projects and initiatives, ensuring tasks are defined, resourced and effectively managed, including scoping, planning, managing and implementing innovative and successful solutions to Business problems and ensure at all times quality outcomes are delivered on time and within budget for all assignments. You will be expected to maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business ensuring requirements and needs are understood.

What you'll do:

• To drive and manage the successful delivery of all assigned projects and initiatives. Plan and manage resources, whether Business or IT (internal or external), cost effectively to deliver the required Business outcomes
• Work closely and ensure early involvement with the delivery teams and key suppliers to ensure they can contribute to all phases of delivery as may be appropriate
• Realise opportunities to reduce cost and increase service throughout the duration of the project
• Draft project mandates, estimate costs and resource requirements, and produce project briefs and initiation documents to ensure that all work is accurately sized
• Create and manage optimised project plans, budgets, critical success factors and key milestones for all projects
• Effectively engage and manage vendors, focussing on strong delivery capability and cost efficiency opportunities for the project as well as Bupa holistically
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies and manage change holistically

What you'll bring:

• To have strong knowledge and expertise in business and/or IT project management and be able to manage multiple project work streams and activities.
• A track record in successfully delivering projects up to £1million, managing a number of project staff within an enterprise/corporate environment
• To be able to demonstrate a professional and credible image to the Business with excellent interpersonal skills.
• To have an excellent understanding and knowledge of the full project lifecycle and have project management experience; within a recognised project management methodology (e.g. Prince2, Agile, SDLC;).
• To be able to demonstrate good stakeholder management skills across a wide range of different stakeholders.
• Must have a tenacious approach to problem solving
