Job Title: Project Manager for a Custom SaaS Web Applications
About the Company:
Better&More is a human-sized company that specializes in delivering custom SaaS web applications. Our products are designed to improve our clients' workflow management, offering tailor-made solutions that save time and enhance productivity. Our team consists of a Web Project Manager (CEO), web developers, a QA Engineer, a graphic designer, and a network technician.
Objective of this Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Manager to assist the CEO in managing clients and the technical team. The job location is 100% remote. As a Project Manager, your primary goal will be to understand clients' workflows, gather their requirements, and transform them into complete User Stories for our development team. You will be the bridge between clients and our technical team, ensuring smooth communication and successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
1. Communication with the Client:
- Effectively communicate with clients in writing and orally.
- Understand and prioritize customer update requests, including urgent bug fixes, updates, and integrations of new concepts.
- Summarize meetings with clients in clear reports.
- Convert customer requests into comprehensive User Stories by collaborating with the technical team and the CEO.
2. Writing Technical Briefs:
- Translate specifications into Scrum Sprints for the development team, ensuring coherent development organization.
- Conceptualize additional elements, such as new databases or graphic models, to facilitate updates.
3. Development Management:
- Apply Agile methods to organize the developer schedule and track Sprints.
- Conduct final verifications, especially for critical tasks, to ensure alignment with customer needs.
- Proactively propose improvements, anticipate additional features, and maintain a Backlog file for client recommendations.
4. Product Owner:
- Assume the role of Agile Product Owner for applications, possessing a comprehensive understanding of features, database structure, and data.
- Collaborate with the QA Engineer to write application documentation.
5. Customer Prospecting:
- Respond to calls for tenders and articulate our services in detail.
- Conduct prospecting follow-up effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong technical document writing capabilities.
- Solid knowledge of web products, including Websites, Web Platforms, SaaS, Web Applications, PWA, etc.
- Experience in web development management and Agile methodology.
- Proficient in tools like Google Docs, Jira, Notion, and Figma/Photoshop for mock-ups and wireframe modeling.
- General understanding of the internet, network, server, FTP, and database.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic QA testing experience.
- Team management skills.
- Familiarity with MySQL database and GIT usage.
- Understanding of web development and DevOps principles.
