Role: Project Manager

Pay Rate: £500 per day

An exciting opportunity has become available with our prestigious client who is a prominent government department. The client is seeking an experienced Project Manager join their welcoming team.

The Project Manager Role:

• Attending meetings & assisting the Programme Team with determination of Service Transition requirements related to the project, supporting the development & implementation of the Ser-vice Management strategy – including processes for Operations & Transition.

• Assisting the relevant Project / Programme key stakeholders in the review of project proposals, documentation, progress reports, requests for comments & other output requirements related to their designated projects.

• Acting as Principal reviewer of all technical documentation (related to projects) & providing weekly Progress Reports to delivery Authority.

• Developing Test plans & supporting respective Operational Readiness Evaluation (ORE) & Ser-vice Transition activity – liaising with service transition / operations teams.

• Assisting & contributing to agile change management activities related to projects & the over-arching programme.

• Using project scheduling & control tools to monitor project plans – inc. performance, cost & time where appropriate – highlighting areas of concern to Project / Programme Delivery Lead.

What the Project Manager will Need:

• Demonstrable Project Management experience in the delivery of IT/IS projects & a relevant Project Management qualification – Prince2 / APMP / MS / Agile PM etc.

• Knowledge & understanding of MS Azure Stack Hub & Azure Data Analytics platforms.

• Knowledge & experience of varying data analytics tooling / application software.

• Proactive & professional internal / external relationship management experience.

• Strong communications skills (written & verbal) – managing customer / stakeholder expectations.

• MCP / MCITP / MSCA / MCSE / CISSP / CISMP / ITIL – advantageous & desirable.

• Active valid SC Clearance is required for this role.
