This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
To assist Radiologists/Radiographers during specialist radiographic procedures and ultrasound examinations, providing direct care, maintenance of equipment and administrative duties in order to ensure a high quality of service to patients whilst following the IR(ME)R 2017 (Ionising radiation [medical exposure] regulations) and the European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (EFSUMB) and electrical safety regulations at all times.
