What's the role about?
As our People & Culture Advisor you will be accountable for all ER and HR activity across our Head Office. You will support the People & Culture Partner and Head of People & Culture through the full range of people topics including wellbeing, investigations, disciplinaries, performance management, maternity, paternity, and many more, ensuring Reiss employees always have an outstanding employee experience. You will work collaboratively with our People & Culture Administrator to manage the daily operations of HR to ensure Reiss is the best possible place to work.
Who you are
- Previous HR Advisor experience (fashion/retail background preferable)
- Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures
- CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential
- Exemplary communication and listening skills
- Strong IT skills - Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- A curious and credible nature with an eye for detail
- Strong organisation skills and a continuous improvement mindset
- Confident, adaptable, and proactive in your approach
- A real ‘doer' with the energy and drive to make an impact
What you'll be doing
- Act as the initial point of contact with managers regarding all ER matters
- Advise and lead ER cases of all types and levels, including formal meetings and investigations, on cases with differing complexities
- Coach and mentor our managers to improve their skillsets and confidence to manage low risk ER issues
- Interpret and advise on relevant current employment legislation, policies and procedures
- Support the People & Culture team by conducting exit interviews and producing monthly reports to track labour turnover for our Head Office functions, providing an insightful summary of findings and trends
- Support the effective management of lifecycle operational processes such as new starters, changes and leavers
- Deliver training programmes on employee relations matters as required
- Support People & Culture Partner with management of head office reward and benefits
- Support the delivery of cyclical people events such as our engagement survey and annual pay review
