Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Material delivery and pick-up, both hazardous and inert, from customer locations utilizing company vans and trucks.
2. Safe Loading and unloading of explosive materials.
3. Properly identify and label material containers as legally required.
4. Maintain all shipping containers for safe and secure movement of material.
5. Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, as well as, vehicle inspection reports.
6. Complete pre and post trip vehicle inspections.
7. Must be able to operate or be willing to train for Forklift certification.
8. Correctly manage and log material Net Explosive Weights (N.E.W.)
9. Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies and process, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
10. OT required for Friday and Saturday as needed.
11. Pull, assemble, package, label and ship Explosive/Non-Explosive materials according to quality paperwork, Pack slip and current 49CFR/IATA regulations.
12. Must be able to obtain certification in 49CFR/IATA for shipping and handling dangerous goods.
13. Use of Fed-Ex and UPS Ship manager Hardware/ Software to ship product.
Key Requirements:
1. Must have a Class C CDL with Hazmat endorsement, or the ability to acquire one soon after hire.
2. Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
3. Previous experience handling hazardous materials a plus.
4. Flexibility in schedule with the ability to travel regionally.
5. Ability to use a hands-free mobile device.
6. Good communication skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work with minimum supervision.
8. Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions.
9. Must display competent dexterity to insure safe handling of explosive devices.
- Education Required High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience Required: 2 years related hazmat experience preferred.

Hollister, CA: The hourly range for this position is $16.69 - $30.98
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
