The role you’ll contribute:
The Senior Project Manager of Corporate Marketing facilitates the completion of a project by coordinating the activities of an entire team. Senior Project Managers build a team of employees, each with their own core role in accomplishing a project, then develop ways for team members to interact and report progress. Senior Project Managers delegate tasks to individual Project Managers, setting clear standards for their work that they'll use to integrate each task into a completed project. They oversee and manage progress and alignment with departmental and organizational goals and expectations. Pivotal to the timely and successful execution of traditional, digital, video and photography marketing assets, the Senior Project Manager coordinates multiple project management members across numerous simultaneous projects on a daily basis. This position reports to the Director of Project Management & Production and supports the delivery of projects for system-wide marketing initiatives.

- Oversee and lead necessary staff and stakeholders to set appropriate project scopes and develop executable project plans by monitoring project risks and scope creep early and often to foresee/identify potential problems, and proactively identify and present solutions to management.
- Compare budgetary and timeline restrictions, ensure the brand is followed, research technology and innovations related to a project to improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; recommending changes as appropriate.
- Develop personnel and operational budgets reflecting appropriate funding for all relevant functions and programs. Monitor and evaluate spending with a goal of maximizing cost-effectiveness of operations. Produce financial and operational reports as requested.
- Provide feedback to their employees about their performance and track their progress.
- Monitor project risks and scope creep early and often to foresee/identify potential problems, and proactively identify and present solutions to management.
- Provide training and education on project management tools and systems as needed.
- Have a high level of independence for their own actions at work, reporting to their clients and company leaders about the progress of their team and processes.
- Report and update Director about the steps they're taking as Senior Project Manager to lead their team and create innovative ideas for future projects.
- Other related duties as assigned.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED:
- Strong process and proven organizational skills as well as natural disposition towards customer service and relationship management.
- Mentor their team in aspects of the profession such as leadership, methodology, tools, people skills and navigating politics.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), flexibility and adaptability to change
- Able to evaluate the readiness of a project team to then recommend the related training required to ensure the effective application of project management and leadership principles. Have a solid grasp of basic and advanced project management principles, along with having experience in successfully applying and advancing those principles.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, IT, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing marketing or digital projects
- Understand the business need for each project and make on-going decisions based on what's best for the organization.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct oversight of 4-5 Project Managers
- Manages system Project Management & Production, through cross-functional corporate influence
