What you’ll be doing:
- Building relationships with new and existing clients; providing innovative, creative ideas to aid their PR and wider marketing campaigns.
- Briefing clients and updating them on press campaigns, creative projects and PR solutions, providing analysis of PR coverage
- Keeping abreast of current PR trends and tools; making recommendations to clients
- Building client relationships and maintaining a network of media contacts including journalists and industry spokespeople
- Supporting both traditional PR and social media projects
- Developing stories and pitches to further the client’s profile, products and service and landing great coverage
- Being involved in pitching for new business and developing PR proposals
What we look for:
- Experience of (B2B) or business to consumer (B2C) PR accounts – agency experience preferred
- Outstanding communication skills - presentation, verbal and written, including copywriting, marketing and report writing, social media, event management and client liaison skills
- Emotional intelligence and interpersonal expertise
- Go-getting attitude, hunger to learn and deliver while working as a part of a cohesive, hands-on team.
- A passion for the media, including social media
- Flair for creativity and innovation
- Commercially aware and business savvy
- Industry knowledge and an aptitude to build a network of influencers and press commentators
- Outstanding organisation with an ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios
