Job purpose
If ABCA sounds like the right place for you, we would love you to join our team within Active Fire and Security Department. You will be required to project manage, including surveying and QA, delivery of ELV systems, primarily for wireless fire alarm systems in residential complexes.
We are looking for either a life safety biased or security biased Project Manager, if you can deliver both disciplines already this will be a benefit, however we are willing to train.
Duties and responsibilities
Duties included but not limited to :
Project Planning and Execution: Lead and manage fire and security projects from inception to completion, ensuring all aspects are executed efficiently and within budget.
- Client Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific requirements, and providing professional advice and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Management: Coordinate project teams, including engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure effective collaboration and project success.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project safety.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant fire and security regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Budget Control:Monitor project expenses and resource allocation, making necessary adjustments to maintain profitability.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control measures to deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Reporting: Provide regular project status updates to senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones and addressing any challenges.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and refine project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience and Personal Attributes
Essential
- Experience: Minimum of 1 years of proven experience in managing fire and security projects, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Active Fire Systems and or Security Systems.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve exceptional results.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, adept at interacting with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker with the ability to solve complex issues and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Organization: Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Other Information
This is a permanent role we are offering, Home based within commutable distance to London.
The salary we are offering is between £50,000 - £65,000, depending on skills and experience, based on a 40 hour working week.
