The role of Risk Portfolio Management Officer analyst is a critical role in managing the portfolio of projects that are owned by the Risk function
Reporting to the Head of Risk PMO, the individual will need to work closely with the change teams to support the oversight and delivery of each of the projects within the portfolio, as well as engagement with other teams across the bank to support delivery, e.g. EPMO, Finance, Procurement.
The difference you’ll make
Organising the Programme Management Office, including scheduling and facilitating governance meetings and ensuring central programme reporting is updated
Managing the project pipeline, including quality assuring business cases, and obtaining funding approvals via relevant forums
Working with the Risk Change & Data team to help challenge and develop overall strategy and operating model
Take responsibility for tracking and reporting project status against plan, and project spend against budget to various forums, and escalating any concerns
Embedding project management standards and tools, including Planview and Wave.
Taking part in team activities to better understand colleagues and to help build a stronger and more effective team
What you’ll bring
Experience in PMO, change management, project management, process design, finance and data management techniques and tools
Strong analytical skills
It would also be nice for you to have
Strong interpersonal skills – persuades and influence others, using a range of approaches to achieve deliverables.
Working knowledge of Risk, including Credit, Market and Counterparty Credit Risks, with a focus on the systems, process and data requirements
Experience of working within UK banking segment

This is a full time role, based in Milton Keynes with flexibility working from home
