Our Head Office Corporate Governance department is looking for a proactive Officer to be an integral part of the PMO Team. In this multi-faceted role, you will be supporting Project Management to further the change management within the business at all levels, as well as help foster the growth and success of Project Management at Lidl through dedicated tools and systems.
We have moved to a hybrid working model with a recommended 2 days in the office per week for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. We feel it is important that, where possible, we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible and trust our teams to determine the right environments that work most effectively for them.
What you'll do
- Supporting and liaising with project managers and steering committee members
- Preparation and support of Project Advisory Group meetings including production of project portfolio reports and analysis
- Development of tools, templates and guidance for PMs and project team members
- Building strong relationships with internal and international stakeholders across a variety of departments
- Assisting with Project Management training sessions (scheduling, reviewing material, organisational preparation)
- Obtaining extensive knowledge of the business process management system; process modelling, methodology and maintenance (full training will be provided)
- Assisting with future rollouts to regional locations for Project and Process Management
- Communication with other Lidl countries to exchange ideas and cultivate collaboration
- General assistance to the Project Management Team
What you'll need
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong networks and relationships
- Experience in Project Management desirable
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Well-organised with the ability to multitask and work to targets and strict deadlines
- Proactive and resilient
- Confident and persuasive – able to deal with pushbacks and resilient personalities
- Well versed with MS Teams and confident in learning new software
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- German language skills are beneficial, but not essential
