You’ve picked a great time to look at Longhurst Group, our PMO is changing, we’re gathering pace and looking for a PMO Administrator that can play an integral role in helping us to successfully deliver programmes and projects within a large and complex organisation.
When you join us as a PMO Administrator your role will make a crucial difference, both to how we work internally, but also with how we work with customers, enabling us to fulfil our commitment to improving lives. A summary of what you’ll be doing in our PMO Administrator role is below:
- PMO Support - Assist the PMO Coordinator in all aspects of PMO responsibilities, providing administrative support to the Programme Manager and Project Management community.
- Reporting - Prepare and produce timely and accurate reports in collaboration with the PMO Coordinator, ensuring data is quality assured.
- Risk, Issues & Action Management - Proactively work with the wider team to manage Risk, Issues & Actions.
- Governance - Support the application of the defined governance model.
- Data Management - Proactive coordination and maintenance of core project repositories and documentation.
- Best Practices - Promote and advise on best practices across the project community.
To be successful in your application for the role, ideally you will have experience of PMOs, project and/or IT environments. If not, we are still keen to hear from you if you can demonstrate transferable experience and a strong desire to grow your skills & knowledge (we’re keen to read more about this in your supporting statement).
This position is offered on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract working 36.25 hours across the week (9am – 5.15pm, with an hours’ lunch). This is a hybrid role, mostly home-based with some expectation of travel for meetings / training across our geography (Midlands & East of England). There are also options to spend time working across our offices (Boston, Rushden, Peterborough or Walsall) if you prefer.
