About you, about the role
You may already have experience of providing care to people with support needs, although full training will be given to enable you to provide recovery focused, person-centred support for our clients to live as independently as possible within the community.
You will have great customer service expertise, ability to manage your time and provide accurate information. Perhaps you’ve worked in retail or hospitality and can demonstrate transferable skills to develop trusting relationships with clients to achieve positive outcomes as well as confidently dealing with external agencies and authorities.
What is key, you will already have an understanding of the needs of people living with mental health and its effects, the willingness to learn, have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have good I.T. skills, including word, databases and e-mails. If you have an NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care, that’s great! If not, we will support you in obtaining this and beyond.

Hours are based on a rota working 39.25 hour per week, including sleep ins, weekends and lone working.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
