Job Summary
This is an exciting role for someone with previous project management experience in real-estate and construction. You will be part of a team with a broad range of responsibilities including market research, negotiation, the design and delivery of an expanding portfolio.You will be a communicator and partner well with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring they are continuously well informed and kept up to date with project progress. The role will allow the successful candidate exposure to a comprehensive experience of real estate development.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of the design, schedule, budget, construction and handover throughout the project lifecycle.
- Online and on-site real-estate market research
- Analysing data through a variety of statistical methods and models, from spreadsheets to graphs
- Negotiate with design, engineering and contractor on each project; develop and maintain optimal relationships with external stakeholders
- Draft / contribute to construction and consultant contracts.
- Confirming building plans with Surveyors, Architects, and Engineers
- Creating work schedules so projects are completed before deadlines
- Continuously monitoring timelines, resources,costs and project progress
- Providing progress reports to company directors
Qualifications and Skills
- Experiences in contractual work in construction will be a big plus.
- Communication skills to detail complex information in an easy-to-understand format
- Understanding construction processes and guidelines for effective planning.
- Detail- oriented and be able to produce and deliver executive presentations and project status reports.
- Skills to manage costs, risks and contingencies
- leadership and negotiation skills
- Experience with databases and programs such as Excel or Google spreadsheets
- Proficiency in mathematics for determining building material quantities and costs and operating site within budget
- Persistence and determination to complete the project
