The role of the Project Finance Accountant (PFA) secures correct execution of customer business in SAP ONE, in compliance with Ericsson’s Process and Accounting Directives. Are you in? Come, and be where it begins!
What you will do
- Secure proper input for setup of Fulfilment Assignments, create OEF (One Entry Form) and obtain correct approvals
- Verify and register Customer POs in relevant tools
- Proactive approach review request for Invoicing (Acceptance document)/Credit Notes/Cancellation and validate with Customer Project Managers
- Initiate discussion / follow-up with Customer Project Managers for open items impacting closure activities
- Proactively review SAP objects and secure corrective actions with execution accountable
- Secure timely actions on Task Action Log’s with execution accountable
- Proactively review & challenge quality of balance sheet positions (WIP/ RUC/ DR/ UB) and take actions with execution accountable & project controller
- Plan Project Accounting activities during Period end and secure timely actions
- Manage Incentives & TPA’s (IFRS15 Step 4)
- Perform control role for CA SOX Key controls
- Actively contribute to any project audit, monitor & ABC control questions
- Secure planned, committed & actual cost is reflected and updated correctly in SAP
- Have a proactive approach into Review & update planned revenue & billing
- Verify & store Proof of Delivery for revenue and/or cost recognition
- Secure revenue & cost recognition
- Troubleshoot, resolve errors & secure data quality in SAP
- Take the lead into providing advice & support to stakeholders on Accounting Directives & Process related matters
- Take active part into highlighting potential objects to be closed
- Team administrative responsibilities: time reporting accordingly to set deadlines; knowledge sharing accordingly to unit’s directives; accurate operational handovers when necessary; allocated activities progress reporting accordingly to the team directives; completion of training curricula as required by unit directive and/or accordingly to Ericsson policies and requirements; participation in team and other applicable appointed meetings
You will bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in, economics, accounting, project management, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency with the English Language, secondary language knowledge is a plus
- Flexible and service minded with analytical and financial skills
- Multitask ability, involvement in many projects simultaneously
- Excellent in building relations
- SAP, Excel; Tableau, Power BI and VBA knowledge are a plus
- Business oriented
