Salary: £10.90 per hour (£21,029 pro rata)
Hours: 17 hours per week average (includes Saturday working)
Location: St Thomas Library, Exeter
Closing date: 9am on Tuesday 16th May
Interview date: Thursday 25th May at St Thomas Library
We are looking for an enthusiastic people-focused person to join our customer service team at St Thomas Library. We are a forward-thinking community library and offer a broad range of activities, events and services that inspire a love of reading, learning and creativity with customers of all ages.
You'll work flexibly to provide an inclusive library service to customers in the St Thomas area of Exeter, ensuring that their local library is a friendly, welcoming space.
You'll deliver a friendly, responsive service to all customers in line with their individual needs, ensuring the best possible experience.
You'll take an active role in planning, promoting and delivering events and activities that enrich lives and build thriving communities, designed for children and adults.
We are looking for someone who has an understanding of what great customer service looks like who is able to provide a friendly, personable service to all customers. The successful candidate will also have strong IT and digital skills, with the confidence to support customers with a range of requests, as well as a love of reading and ability to work as part of a team.
