Position summary
- Project Engineer for portfolio of projects
- Based in UK either London or Aberdeen with planned trips to Algeria and contracting company's locations.
Main duties & responsibilities
- Works across portfolio under direction of the Interface Manager and Project Director
- Takes adhoc roles within projects or between projects.
- As portfolio evolves will take ownership of specific elements. Depending on experience this could be a PE or PM role.
- Builds relationship with operations and Technical Teams.
- Maintains visibility of assigned activity mitigating risks and realising opportunities from competing activity.
- Works with contracting companies to safely and efficiently execute projects.
Experience with the following is desirable:
- Investigation and troubleshooting of complex problems.
- F.A.T and S.A.T.
- Construction
- Commissioning/start-up.
- HAZOPs / LOPA / Constructability reviews.
Education
University Degree - Relevant discipline.
Experience
15+ years' experience in operations and projects environment.
Languages
Fluency in English
French and Arabic would be advantageous.
