Position Summary
This is a Programme / Project Manager delivery role to identify, expand and leverage our non-hardware capability for new business value and secure our future. Ideal candidate experience of proposition launches in omni-channel environments particularly consumer electronics in Europe (mobile operator / retail etc.).
Role and Responsibilities
The role will lead the execution of Certified Re-Newed across Europe. By identifying critical proposition characteristics, tracking core delivery across complex workstreams and managing commercial performance through data.
This individual will work closely with the European Service business owners, Samsung HQ, European Marketing, and local country teams across Europe to deliver the CRN European roadmap.
Responsible for the coordination, management and delivery of multiple cross category work streams. The role will work closely with the relevant business owner and provide guidance and support for cross divisional project management within other areas of the European organisation.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the 8+ work streams with CE industry best practice methodology
- Management of the roadmap delivery and being the point of escalation
- Lead workstream deliverables to ensure complete, successful, cost-effective and on-time implementation of strategic delivery
- Set targets for direct and virtual / matrix team reports and monitor progress
- Develop and maintain programme reporting tools and processes
- Assignment of team members to lead approved change and transformation initiatives
- Maintain budgetary control of workstreams where necessary
- Provide, weekly project status reviews/updates
- Early Identification of risks and recommend plan for mitigation / contingencies
- Track risks and issues throughout lifecycle project and follow them through to completion.
- Prepare presentation material and present to senior managers as and when required
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Hard Skills
- Channel (Mobile Operator, CE retailer) launch / proposition GTM experience
- Omni-channel understanding / funnel and conversion metric knowledge
- Ability to work in a rapid, evolving environment
- Programme management experience in a large CE organisation
Essential Soft Skills
- Ability to organize work effectively, reprioritize as new demands arise
- Must be collaborative and personable skill-set to motivate and drive a matrix organisation
- Thorough with strong organisational and communication skills
- Able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment & perform multiple tasks effectively
- The ability to quickly adapt and change course as needed in a fast paced environment
- Ability to lead status and update communications to managers, directors
- Demonstrate strong technical skills for troubleshooting and problem solving
