Project Coordinator
Who are we?
Gamma is a leading supplier of Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS): they provide voice, data and mobile products and services to the UK, German, Spanish and Benelux business markets. It is AIM listed and have over 1750 staff across UK and European locations.
This is a customer-facing position which requires the delivery management in support of a Project Manager and on occasion the delivery management of your own small projects. Accountable for the successful delivery of telephony and data solutions, this role requires a structured and organised approach. Will be reporting to the Head of Customer Projects
What you’ll be involved in:
The Project Co-ordinator with be responsible for the successful end to end delivery including risk & jeopardy management to achieve completion within deadlines and to budget and quality standards.
Including but not limited to
- Customer engagement and communication, setting expectations, supporting the Project Manager with project kick off meetings
- Creation and maintenance of project documents such as delivery trackers and RAID logs
- Change management, documenting change requests, decisions and approvals
- Undertaking delivery activity to ensure milestones are hit, scheduling activities, tasks and assigning owners
- Arranging and ensuring site access in line with customer and key stakeholder policies
- Management of 3rd parties and associated deliverables
- Priority, risk, and escalation management
- Reporting lessons learned
- Progress reporting as required
- Supporting and underpinning the Project Management Team delivery activity
- Accurate maintenance of Gamma systems
- Following best practice guides and agreed delivery approaches
- Ad-hoc supporting team members and projects as and when required

What skills do you need to make an impact in this role:
Experience within a Project management Office, particularly in a Telecoms and Data environment is advantageous. A self-starter who is organised and can plan and coordinate activity is essential. Ability to communicate in a medium and language appropriate to the situation is required, whether this be with the customer directly or internal stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment of customer solutions.
- Education/Qualifications: GCSE Maths, English, Science, APM PFQ or Prince2 Foundation.
Would be good to have A-Level qualifications, APM PMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner, MS Project
Experience:
- 1 year+ experience in a customer delivery environment
- Data and/or telecoms products.
- Commercial awareness
Background in Telecoms, working within a Project environment/PMO or Knowledge of Gamma Products will be desired.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Competent MS Office skills including Excel
- Customer Service skills.
- Problem solving
Desired: MS Office PowerPoint and MS Project
How we work:
The role will be home based with occasional travel to Gamma office. Will be working full time, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours p/w).
