A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional, forward thinking, Project Support Officer to work within the NHS Golden Jubilee Clinical Risk and Governance Department.
Reporting directly to our Clinical Effectiveness Manager, this role will initially support the terms of reference set for the public inquiries into the handling of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Scotland and the UK. The postholder will also support the core functions of the Clinical Risk and Governance team as and where identified, for example, undertaking audits for business continuity, improvement projects and reviewing effectiveness of learning across the organisation. There are frequent government and statutory requests that are not planned that this role will support on an ongoing basis.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have a background in project/quality improvement principles and methodology with strong interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to communicate with staff working at all levels within the hospital and ability to communicate with external agencies.
You will also have excellent data analysis and data collection skills, and an ability to produce reports following analysis of complex data.
