Home Instead Wetherby and North Leeds is a specialist home care service enabling older people to enjoy the highest quality of life in the comfort of their own home and maintain their independence.

We match our Live-in Carers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build trust and to provide personalised support for each individual.
We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Wetherby and North Leeds as a Live-In Carer. As a Live-In Carer, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help keep clients independent in their own home.
The role of a Live-In Carer is both rewarding and challenging, with great support from the Home Instead team, and the client’s family where necessary. As a Live-In Carer, you will be required to provide the highest quality care. You will be responsible for:
- Delivering your client’s personalised care plan and health goals.
- Managing the client’s medical condition, meals, hygiene and always ensure their safety
- Maintaining a positive relationship with your client, their family, friends, and those supporting their health and wellbeing as well as being trustworthy and compassionate
- Assistance with personal care, light housework, meal preparation and companionship.
Minimum placement requirement is 2 weeks’ or subject to client requirements
Personal Characteristics
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience in care.
- You need a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service.
- You will be reliable, trustworthy, and respectful.
- You will enjoy building professional relationships with clients and be comfortable spending time in the company of others.
- Drivers are desirable, but not essential for this role.
Please note that our clients live across a wide geographical area, so you must be comfortable travelling between client placements (max. 20 miles).
