Job Role: Project Co-Ordinator (x3)
Location: Home Based
Rate of Pay: £220 per day
Swanstaff are currently looking to recruit 3 Project Co-Ordinators for our key client, a major financial and retail technology company that specialises in the sale, manufacture and installation of self-service transaction systems (point of sale terminals).
The client is based in Dartford, Kent, but the Project Co-Ordinator roles are home-based and required to support the roll-out of a project for two major retail customers.
The available roles are as follows;
Role 1
Maintain schedule, engage with supply chain, monitor success of installations and collate sign-off and reporting of progress of project. Bi-weekly visits to customer premises based close to Coventry.
Role 2
Stock control, forecast demand on hardware, maintain stock reporting, liaise with staging function and upload of master data – customer based close to Derby.
Role 3
Combination of the above two roles for different customer with lower volume – customer based in Milton Keynes.
Key Responsibilities include:
- To assist with the scheduling, control and of the project/work streams, including delivery schedules, project milestones and dependencies, acceptance and quality criteria, commercial arrangements, financial parameters and management of sub-contractors/partners.
- To liaise with all project stakeholders, ensuring that they are suitably informed and involved during all stages of the project and always keep the Project Manager up to date.
- To support the creation and agreement of robust acceptance criteria to measure project performance ensuring appropriate levels of customer sign-off.
- To supervise the project/work stream performance, against the agreed plan and commence corrective action (or escalation) when required – ensuring appropriate and timely reporting and escalation internally and to customer.
- To follow the chosen project management methodology about all aspects of the project/work stream
- To assist with preparation and control of budget project ensuring delivery against set financial targets. To aid with the production of accurate financial forecasting of the project performance.
- To ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project cycle.
- To complete ad-hoc duties and tasks allocated via line management as and when required.
Requirements:
- Previous Project Co-Ordinator experience.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office suite – especially Excel, Word and Teams.
- Exceptional communication skills – as regular customer interaction required (via phone, Teams, correspondence etc.)
- Suitable home working environment – with connectivity to internet
- Knowledge of IT hardware rollouts (preferred).
- Have knowledge of UK geography (desirable).
- To have element of commercial awareness (desirable).
