Change Delivery
Change Delivery is the driving force behind Sky. We’re the team that delivers change, at a pace, in a complex environment. More specifically we take ideas, such as launching a new product or proposition, or changing the way our contact centers and engineers serve our customers and help them become a reality.
We work with every area of the business to bring our technology, content and customer service to millions of customers. Recent projects include the launch of Sky Glass and Sky Stream, as well as rolling out our best Sky Mobile and Sky Broadband services to more customers than ever before.
Our goal as a Business Analyst in the PM and Analysis team is to make things brilliantly easy for our customers, advisors, engineers and operational support teams. We do this by providing business and operational change expertise to projects driven by Technology or Product teams, owning the online and advisor-led customer experience. We lead on projects looking at efficiency, customer care, compliance and supporting our colleagues, from advisors and engineers to logistics planners and retail stores.
To summarise, you’ll work at pace on high-profile projects, working with senior decision makers and experts around the business. You’ll feel a huge sense of achievement delivering large scale change for the business, our people and our customers.
What you'll do:
  • Provide business analysis support across the whole project life cycle including stakeholder identification, scope definition, customer and operational impact assessments.
  • Represent our customer facing colleagues and work collaboratively with other analysts (including data, technology, and billing) across the business to ensure all stakeholder perspectives and requirements are understood.
  • Create and manage the analysis approach and plan that defines, monitors, and tracks activities and timings to support successful project delivery
  • Lead on core Business Analyst activities including documenting ‘as is & to be’ processes, performing gap analysis and bringing to life the customer experience through documentation and presentation of customer journeys.
  • Elicit, document, and manage business requirements, focusing on customer and operational experience from project initiation to solution delivery.
  • Facilitate sessions with the business and operational stakeholders to gain alignment on requirements and processes, support prioritisation and achieve sign off.
  • Work closely with system analysts and development teams ensuring their functional requirements and prototypes meet the business needs before testing/delivery starts.
  • Support trial and testing of solutions, ensuring they deliver excellent customer/end user experience and meet business requirements. Analyse and manage defects, understanding the impact these have on project delivery and our operational teams.
  • Support business and operational readiness/implementation to ensure all areas are prepared to receive and the support project delivery. This includes support of the operating model, training, briefing and communications and project launch support with warranty.
  • Support the handover of updated processes back to the business, capturing lessons learned and recommending best practice improvements.
What you'll bring:
  • Proven recent experience of working in a Business Analyst or similar role within Sky
  • Strong analysis toolkit with knowledge and experience in core analysis activities and artefacts such as customer journeys, gap analysis, business requirements and business operations
  • Working knowledge of the full project lifecycle from analysis planning and project scope, through the analysis and design phase, to business readiness and trials.
  • You’re curious and a natural collaborator. You love bringing people together and working with them to find all the pieces of the puzzle and delivering a solution that works for everyone
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer experience
  • You’re comfortable building and managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels and can communicate with confidence
  • Drive and ambition to believe in better – for yourself, your team, the business, and our customers
