As a Barclays Project Business Analyst, you will be contributing to the delivery of a portfolio of complex projects within the Market Data Financial Management domain to help achieve long-term strategy. You will be working with in market Data Financial Management (MDFM) which is a global team responsible for the end-to-end management of all market data services on behalf of BI, BUK and BX. Our process includes managing business requirements and demand challenge, vendor on-boarding and contract management.

What will you be doing?
• Interfacing with various stakeholders to understand and document business requirements
  • Understanding end-to-end project lifecycle and supporting the project team
  • Providing detailed analysis, present options and make recommendations to stakeholders to gain buy in
  • Contributing to Market Data strategic initiatives from inception to completion
  • Engaging stakeholders across Market Data, the wider Procurement, Technology and Front Office businesses
  • Ensuring updates are regularly communicated, and projects/tasks are prioritized
What we’re looking for:
• Proven Business Analysis experience within the Financial Services industry
  • Broad experience with End-to-End project management lifecycle
  • PC knowledge, particularly Excel, Outlook, Microsoft word, PowerPoint, Visio; Proficient manipulating excel to produce metrics, pivot tables, charts, etc
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Significant experience and understanding with Market Data and/ or Reference data vendors, products, technology, delivery methodologies
  • Broad experience and understanding with delivering or contributing to technology driven transformation projects / programs
  • Proven delivery track record within fast paced corporate environment and ability to work across multiple projects
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and influencing skills
