ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Project Analyst you will collaborate with the Functional Manager – Environmental and Propulsion Test to deliver our product ambitions and to shape our Beyond100 strategy.

This role is the driving force for Test resource projects across planning, budgeting, strategy, data analysis, industry research, optimising performance, problem solving and facilitation of cross brand testing solutions, whilst championing and continually improving the governance and delivery of services.

The Project Analyst is responsible for the overall delivery plan for powertrain testing planning for the Technical Conformity Function and our dependant internal customers.

The Technical Conformity Test Operations team are responsible for delivering test solutions to all business functions requiring Emissions and energy test capability.
The function forms part of the Technical Conformity department and facilitates delivery of Conformity of Production, Type approval, Development and Current Model Production testing while maintaining compliance with legislative and group standards.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintaining testing resource and contingency plans to support business requirements
  • Developing sub sections of project plans and then managing projects through completion of tasks and/or maintaining the project plan
  • Managing, tracking and mitigating project risks and issues accordingly
  • Progressing a number of concurrent projects / resources with an understanding of prioritisation, important vs. urgent
  • Tracking project finances throughout delivery lifecycle
  • Conducting internal / external research and financial verification meeting as part of building business cases and consequent project budgets
  • Handling / awareness of legalities involved when dealing with 3rd parties (e.g. NDA’s)
  • Commercial awareness when independently liaising with potential 3rd parties

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will be in a Project orientated role with experience in the automotive, aero or related industries, gaining experience of multi stake-holder management projects and programs in a complex and reactive environment with critical deliverables. Any experience in a test supplier or emissions environment (or similar) would be advantageous.
  • Experience of budget facilitation and allocation costing and overheads to services (profit and loss etc)
  • Analytical, research, data manipulation and data reporting skills
  • Experience of project management tools and techniques
  • Communication, collaboration and influencing skills to be used across to be used across a variety of audiences and stake holders including external suppliers
  • Purchase process experience including tender documentation and raising orders
