Job description
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing budgets, including staffing, work plans, and fee structures.
- Providing project managers and clients with timely financial reports and budgets, as well as project forecasts.
- Preparing pre-billing reports for project managers to review.
- Preparing actual costs vs budgeted costs comparisons for each project
- Monitoring receivable income and supporting project managers with collections.
- Updating contracts according to client requirements and reporting associated budget amendments.
- Review and approve supplier invoices related to a project
- Compile information for internal and external auditors, as required
- Ensure proper payments to all contractors and suppliers
- Train and rollout new processes to Stellant staff
- SME responsible for training future key users, admins
- Coordinate cross departmental alignment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Hands on experience with ERP systems (Infor LN is a plus), Concur, ACH Banking and Business Intelligence tools.
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, lookups, analytics)
- Reports to CFO
- Strong business and project management experience required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interface with various functional groups within the organization.
- Ability to work and thrive in a teamwork environment in which employees are treated with respect.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment using standard and actual costing methods.
- Experience in a rapid growth environment preferred
