Overview:

Job Title: Project Accountant

Job Location: Remote/Torrance, CA

Salary: $64,375-$119,480

Responsibilities:

Reviewing budgets, including staffing, work plans, and fee structures.
Providing project managers and clients with timely financial reports and budgets, as well as project forecasts.
Preparing pre-billing reports for project managers to review.
Preparing actual costs vs budgeted costs comparisons for each project
Monitoring receivable income and supporting project managers with collections.
Updating contracts according to client requirements and reporting associated budget amendments.
Review and approve supplier invoices related to a project
Compile information for internal and external auditors, as required
Ensure proper payments to all contractors and suppliers
Train and rollout new processes to Stellant staff
SME responsible for training future key users, admins
Coordinate cross departmental alignment

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Hands on experience with ERP systems (Infor LN is a plus), Concur, ACH Banking and Business Intelligence tools.
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, lookups, analytics)
Reports to CFO
Strong business and project management experience required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interface with various functional groups within the organization.
Ability to work and thrive in a teamwork environment in which employees are treated with respect.
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment using standard and actual costing methods.
Experience in a rapid growth environment preferred
