JOB OVERVIEW:
As a project accountant you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Set up new projects and process project change orders
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Generate invoices to clients and apply cash receipts
- Intercompany invoicing and settlements
- Work with Accounts Payable to perform payment runs, and prepare payment vouchers
- Manage P-card applications, upload p-card transactions into ERP
- Employee expense reports processing
- Any other Finance and Administration department tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Two years Accounting experience
- Accounting Diploma
- Experience with JDE E1 is an asset
- Experience with full cycle accounting including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Adapt quickly and comfortably to change
