We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised and self-motivated Progression Coach on a full time basis.
Main Duties of the Role:
Your role will be to deliver an ambitious curriculum to all by working with an assigned cohort of learners throughout the academic year, the Progression Coach will deliver the College Tutorial Programme, track attendance, monitor behaviour and support individual students under their care, providing help with a range of financial, academic, social and emotional issues which may be if significant to the progress of the student.
Essential Requirement:
- Qualified to a minimum of Level 3
- IAG Qualification or willing to work towards
- L2 Maths and English or willing to work towards
- Qualified teacher status or willingness to work towards
- Experience of providing one 2 one and group work to young people
- Experience of providing pastoral support to young people
- Experience of safeguarding experience within a school/college or equivalent setting
