Privately owned for over 40 years, and now one of the UK’s leading & multi award winning Engineering companies, WEC is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Robotic Welding Programmer to join our busy and expanding team at HTA Group in Coventry, part of the WEC Group.
Responsibilities
- Program and set up robotic welders (Cloos & Lincoln Cobot)
- Experience in both Prototype, Low and high-volume production robotic welding
- Experience working with carbon, stainless and aluminium steels
- Ability to work from technical drawings
- Troubleshooting robotic welding processes
- Train and assist operators in robotic welding
- Attend kick off meetings
- Robot development and offline programming
- Support continuous improvement initiative
- To adhere to all health and safety
- Any other ad hoc duties
Skills and Experience Required
- 2+ years’ experience as a Robot Welding Programmer
- Solid background and experience in Cloos robotics programming and welding systems
- General plant maintenance
- Good computer skills, primarily MS Excel
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with manufacturing operations and customers.
- Flexible and diligent attitude

HTA Group in Coventry
Working Hours
7:30am – 4pm Monday – Thursday & Friday 7:30am – 3pm
