Job description

We are seeking to appoint a Programme/Theme Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support for the Dental Hygiene & Dental Therapy Programme and Outreach Theme within the School of Clinical Dentistry.

Working under senior School staff, you will be primarily responsible for the planning, organisation and administration of the Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy timetable and the Outreach Theme. Other duties will include student support and maintenance of student records, assessment administration, and communication with the Hospital Trust and Outreach placements.

The work is very varied and you will be required to prioritise the complex demands of both the Dental Hygiene & Dental Therapy Programme and Outreach Theme. You will need to work flexibly and liaise with senior clinical and administrative staff. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to take a methodical approach to planning are essential.

The university is committed to allowing its employees to work to a hybrid model with a combination of working on campus and remotely, where possible. We’re one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK. The University’s Total Reward Package includes a competitive salary, a generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement, as well as access to a range of learning and development courses to support your personal and professional development.

We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
