Do you have recent experience in successfully delivering complex programmes? Do you have knowledge of methodologies for planning, monitoring and reporting on programmes?
We are recruiting for a team of Programme Managers to oversee the planning, mapping and reporting of activities within strategic themes, through working with cross departmental programme teams in Programme Boards.
This is a key team in a brand new Directorate and the successful candidates will be responsible for optimising project management and reporting methodologies across all projects and activities within each strategic theme, as well as embedding project management knowledge and skills within delivery teams.
Dogs Trust is the largest UK-based canine welfare organisation. It is committed to the care and welfare of dogs. Strategy and Transformation is a new Directorate which incorporates five Departments: Research, Intervention Development, Learning and Organisational Development, HR, and Programme Office, as well as an EEDI team.
This Programme Managers work with the Head of Programme Management to ensure a consistent approach to programme and project management across strategic themes. Working with the delivery lead in each area, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and reporting from a portfolio of projects and ongoing activities.
To be successful in this role you will have recent experience in successfully delivering complex programmes involving multiple elements of projects alongside BAU. You will be an excellent stakeholder manager with the ability to influence, engage, motivate, and skill share with senior leaders and colleagues from a wide range of functions.
You will have knowledge and recent experience of using different project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall, as well as a proven track record of reporting programme progress and good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation processes
