Clinical Research Associate
Here at Boots UK, we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team on a full time, permanent basis as a Clinical Research Associate.
In your role as Clinical Research Associate (CRA), you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of clinical trials, supporting the recruitment and screening of study participants, as well as documenting and reporting the daily operations of assigned trials. The CRA applies critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills across a wide variety of clinical studies, and contributes to the development of new processes, procedures, tools, and training to enhance clinical research activities and is accountable for adhering to quality standards.

In your role as Clinical Research Associate (CRA), you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of clinical trials, supporting the recruitment and screening of study participants, as well as documenting and reporting the daily operations of assigned trials. About the role
- The CRA will be part of the Healthcare Business Unit within the Healthcare Development & Public Affairs team
- Obtain and maintain essential documentation in compliance with ICH/GCP procedural documents and local regulations both in investigator study file
- Ensures appropriate credentialing, training, and support of the study team. Advises healthcare delivery team and site staff in study related matters.
- Creates standard operating procedures that adhere to all UK clinical trial regulations. Supports the regulatory team in the maintenance of SOPs and all other regulations applicable to clinical trials.
- Monitors to ensure productivity, quality, and timely completion of studies working collaboratively with the clinical trials team and trial Sponsor.

What you’ll need to have
- Bachelor's degree in a health or life science-related field; Advanced degree in a health or life science-related field preferred
- Experience within clinical research and / or trial study start-up and conduct (Phases 1-4)
- Previous experience as a clinical research coordinator or higher
- Understands and maintains compliance with internal and external privacy and legal
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
