Lincoln School of Design seeks an inspirational and dynamic design academic to deliver industry relevant, future-facing and supportive teaching and impactful research. It is expected that the successful candidate will have a background in Industrial / Product Design, with expertise in both traditional, and new and emerging areas of practice.

Assuming the role of Programme Leader in the Product Design subject area, this is an exciting opportunity for someone to contribute to the future of Design at Lincoln, providing vision and strategic direction and developing innovative curricula and pedagogy, establishing strategic relationships with external partners and contributing to new directions in research within the School. Taking on a permanent role in the School as a Senior Lecturer, you will serve as Programme Leader of the Product Design subject area for 3 years, with the possibility of extension subject to mutual agreement.

You will join the Lincoln School of Design which has established an international reputation for the quality of its teaching and research, delivering a broad range of creative programmes from two purpose-built facilities that house specialist studios, labs, and workshops. The successful applicant will be able to evidence experience in delivering transformative teaching, innovative curriculum and pedagogical development, and industry engagement, have an established research profile in design, and excellent team working skills. A passion for design education and supporting students to achieve their full potential is essential.
