Junior Software Engineer - .NET - C# - DevOps - Cloud - remote - to £40K + Excellent benefits
Are you a talented and ambitious Software Engineer with at least 1 year of experience? We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Software Engineer to join our team and work on a high-profile programme involving the rebuilding of a brand new platform.
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will have the chance to collaborate with the business, stakeholders, and development team to devise and design innovative solutions. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, utilizing your skills in .Net, C#, Cloud (AWS/Azure), Agile, and DevOps. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with various teams to ensure effective project delivery. The role would be majority remote with occasional travel to their Sheffield office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and develop software applications using .Net and C#.
- Utilize cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) to create scalable and efficient solutions.
- · Embrace an Agile development methodology and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of the software.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Solid knowledge of .Net and C# programming languages.
- Experience or familiarity with Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Good understanding of DevOps and working in DevOps environments
