Description
PingWind is seeking a qualified Program Manager for a contingent position on a contract with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). NARA is an independent agency established in 1934 to identify, protect, preserve, and make publicly available the historically valuable records of all three branches of the Federal government. NARA’s Office of Information Services (OCIO) is looking to use a proven Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) to significantly improve delivery of IT services teleworking employees, while driving down IT sustainment costs and freeing up resources to fund new and priority emerging requirements. The PingWind team will be responsible for providing trained and skilled personnel to design, implement, manage, and administer those IT solutions.
Responsibilities
The primary point of contact between the Government and the Vendor shall be the Program Manager (PM). The PM will be responsible for performance of the entire contract, regardless of other key personnel assigned to specific functions or duties and shall be full time.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience Program Management Experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related scientific/technical
- 10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
- Knowledge of managing large programs
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master
- Innate/documented ability to translate project activities into executive-level reports, correspondence, and presentations
- Extensive experience managing complex IT projects
- Experience working on projects involving the monitoring and management of enterprise network, infrastructure, and applications
- Ability to operate in high-stress environments
