Prince William County's Community Services is seeking energetic, self-motivated, high-achieving applicants for our Early Intervention Program Manager position. Early Intervention (EI) is a Part C program, working within PWC Community Services, regulated by federal, state, and local mandates and guidelines. EI consists of two smaller programs – The Infant Information Center (IIC) and the Parent Infant Education Program (PIE). The EI PM will work closely with Part C state staff and PWC Community Services staff in the administration of EI services.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:
The EI Program Manager will be responsible for managing two large, busy programs of Early Intervention providers. The Infant Information Center (IIC) is the central point of entry for EI services and is our Service Coordination staff. The Parent Infant Education Program (PIE) is staffed with VA licensed and Part C Certified PT, OT, SLP, LCSW, ECSE, Early Intervention Assistant staff, as well as Hearing and Vision specialists.
Duties of the EI PM include, but are not limited to:
- Direct supervision of IIC, PIE and Administrative Support team supervisors;
- Ongoing data collection, analysis and reporting;
- Working directly with IIC, PIE staff and administrators of contracted agencies to coordinate service delivery;
- Coordinating with other Community Services programs;
- Overseeing record requests and attending meetings of state Part C staff, PWC CS staff and meetings with community partners as needed for program administration.
- Prefer appropriate VA license/certification to practice physical, occupational, speech-language pathology, early childhood special education or have LCSW, LPC or MFT license.
- 8 or more years off experience working with infants and toddlers in a Part C program or similar human services local/state/federal program.
- 2-3 years of leadership experience in comprehensive interagency program/system development.
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience in clinical supervision of multi-disciplinary clinical staff
- Current VA Part C Certification with experience working in a VA EI program.
This position is typically Monday – Friday, 8 hours/day with the possibility of administrative and supervisory duties extending beyond this on occasion. The EI PM will work in the office and remotely as program needs dictate.

- Must possess a valid driver's license and pass DMV record check
- Must pass TB test
- Must pass and maintain first aid and CPR certification
- Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate passing a fingerprint based National Criminal History Record Check
- Child Protective Services Requirements: Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA35-105-400 rules and Regulations for Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglected maintained by the Department of Social Services.
ENTRY SALARY RANGE: $96,076.50 - $124,897.50
