THE TEAM
The PMO will be formed of 1 Lead and 2 PMO Analysts.
You would be reporting into the Commercial Operations Director and support our mission of becoming the world’s number one destination for fashion-loving 20-somethings.
THE ROLE
As a Program Management Lead at ASOS, you will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Operations Director to stand up and run a PMO to ensure the delivery of the budget.
The Program Management Lead will own the production of standard reporting, ways of working across workstreams and the central team to solve high-visibility problems affecting the program’s operations and opportunities. You will play a key role in ensuring that projects and programmes deliver the required business outcomes and help to monitor and report on progress against the annual budget target.
You will be a fundamental part of the wider ASOS team and help contribute to the success of ASOS.

Owning the production of core weekly documents and analytics
- Responsible for preparing Commercial Operations Director for weekly program meetings by liaising with workstream leads (WSL), initiative owners (IOs) and Finance Business Partners
- Constructing the Management Committee presentation/ PLC board presentations, providing a first draft of the agenda, conducting quality control checks
- Reviewing the weekly report before it is released, and summarising the key takeaways for the program leadership

Partnering with the Commercial Operations Director to solve high-visibility problems
- Acting as the first point of contact for WSLs in need of help driving initiatives forward
- Effectively utilising a ‘challenger’ mindset to breakdown roadblocks, aligning on decisions, and coordinating the solution between the program leadership and workstreams
- A sounding board for the Commercial Operations Director in preparation for ExCo and other leadership presentations
- Responsible for leading problem solving of issues that come up in program or ExCo meetings

Working alongside Finance Business Partners to align to the realisation of the company budget
- Highlighting risks and opportunities
- Supporting with reporting and analysis at month end, reforecast and half year to help inform on progress against the budget task

Reviewing performance in Wave with WSLs, IOs, Finance Business Partners and the Commercial Ops Director
- Challenging progress
- Ensuring the program analysts complete updates and action tracking in a timely manner
- Supporting active stakeholder engagement and participation
- Managing, supporting and developing the Program Analysts to become high performing members of the ASOS team

- Extensive experience in Commercial organisations
- Experience managing teams of employees through an operational turnaround of significant step-change
- Track record of consistently delivering high-impact results in an innovative and fast paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills: producing and presenting concise and informative presentations
- Experience working in professional service environments, especially management consulting or investment banking
- Excellent problem solving and stakeholder engagement skills
