- Vehicle Transportation: The primary responsibility of a Vehicle Transporter Driver is to load, transport, and unload vehicles safely and efficiently. This includes cars, trucks, vans, and sometimes even motorcycles. (Training provided)
- Vehicle Inspection: Before loading the vehicles onto the transport trailer, the driver is responsible for inspecting each vehicle thoroughly. This involves checking for any pre-existing damage, ensuring the vehicles are properly secured for transport, and verifying that they are in working condition. The driver will upload photos onto an app.
- Loading and Securing: Once the inspection is complete, the driver loads the vehicles onto the transport trailer. This can involve driving the vehicles onto the trailer or using specialized equipment like ramps and winches. Properly securing the vehicles to prevent any movement or damage during transit.
- Safe Driving: Vehicle Transporter Drivers must adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. They need to be skilled at handling a large and often heavy transport trailers.
- Communication: Effective communication with staff at Carteam & Carteam customers is crucial. You will need to provide updates on the status of deliveries/report any issues with customers & our inhouse team. In most cases, drivers will be required to interact directly with customers when delivering their vehicles. Providing excellent customer service by being polite and professional is required.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Drivers are responsible for basic maintenance and upkeep of the transport trailer and the vehicle they are driving. This includes regular inspections, tire checks, and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Safety: Safety is paramount in this role. Drivers must be vigilant in following safety protocols, including securing vehicles properly, using safety equipment, and ensuring their own well-being on the road.

Salary: £140.00 per day
