Job Role: Product Sales Representative – UKReports to: Head of Business Development – UK & GlobalWork Schedule: Full Time (hybrid) In-office a minimum of 2 days a week. Salary: £30,000 base + commissionOBJECTIVE Responsible for generating sales of ARUN Technology desktop and handheld products. Build and maintain customer and prospect relationships within the UK and Northern Ireland. Ensure that the products are made available in the market by analysing the trends of the customers and developing sales plans and strategies to meet their needs.KEY RESPONSIBLITIES Prepare, discuss and agree quarterly: the business plan for the sales region with the Managing Director,Head of ARUN UK, and Head of Business Development.Report weekly sales pipeline to Head of Business Development.Maintain sales leads, opportunities and quotations in the CRM tool (HubSpot).Assisting in planning product promotions and lead generation programmes in order to develop emerging and existing markets in conjunction with the Head of Business Development and Head ofARUN UK.Hold regular meetings with all UK customers and prospects, and foster and maintain these relationships.Examine existing sales to establish missing sales opportunities.Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to existing and prospective customers.Prepare quotations to customers.Maintain a professional awareness of ARUN’s and competitor’s product developments.Attend product training days as required for all ARUN products.Attend exhibitions in the UK, and abroad if needed.Prepare live presentations for customer demonstrations over TEAMS or ZOOM.DESIREABLE KNOWLEDGE Knowledge of Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES), Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) or X- ray Fluorescence (XRF) technology.Hands-on experience of optical spectrometers is an advantage.Knowledge of the CRM tool HubSpot is an advantage.REQUIRED SKILLS Ability to demonstrate computer proficiency using Microsoft Office programs,Ability to rapidly understand problems and systematically work on solutions,Ability to empathise and a desire to help people solve problems are critical traits.
