We are currently recruiting for a full-time Production Operative to join our team based in Westbury, Wiltshire.

Position: Production Operative
Job Summary:As a Production Operative at Aplates, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. You will be responsible for assisting in the production of our number plates, ensuring they meet the company's strict quality guidelines. This is a hands-on role that requires a keen eye and rigorous attention to detail. Teamwork is also paramount, as is broad computer literacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machinery and equipment used in the production process.
- Assemble components accurately and efficiently according to production guidelines.
- Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards before packaging.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of raw materials and report any shortages to the supervisor.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any operational issues that may arise during production.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimise production processes and product quality.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-based environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Can-do attitude.
- Computer literacy.

Schedule:
- 08:30-17:00 Monday to Friday
- Breaks: 30 minutes for lunch; morning and afternoon breaks
