mustard XP are exclusively recruiting against a Graduate/Junior 3D Designer requirement with one of the UK’s leading visitor destination & museum design agencies.
The agency’s two founders seek a talented creative, who comes from a 3D background, with understanding and experience of visitor destination projects.
Agency
Currently sitting at 15 employees + a bank of regular of freelancers, the agency works across the following types of projects:
- Museums
- Cultural attractions
- Brand experiences – permanent, rather than pop-up
- Science centres
Projects take them all over the UK as well as abroad, with recent work in Iceland, China & across the Middle East.
Agency Vision / Strategy
To continue the growth of the business, with plans to bolster the creative team beyond this hire over the coming months, as well as additional hires in other areas of the team.
Your Role
- Supporting design work on exhibitions, installations, and broader cultural attractions
- Helping produce technical drawings and visualisations of projects
- Working with the rest of design team to produce original concepts and high-quality 3D visuals
- Conceptualising ideas during the early stages of the process
Requirements
- Experience or a degree in exhibition/attraction design, trade show exhibitions/experiential backgrounds will be considered too.
- Understanding and proficiency in CAD & 3D visualisation software
- Confident in supporting on projects and communicating with senior designers and management
- Capable of producing high quality designs on short-term quick turnarounds and on a sustained long term basis for longer projects.
Office Location / Hybrid Working
- The agency is headquartered in Central Edinburgh. Generally, employees will work 1-2 days a week from home.
Salary / Package Info
The business are looking to pay an annual salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience.
