Job description
Accept Recruitment is currently looking for Fibre Laser Operator and Programmer for our client- a leading manufacturer of high-quality resistors for various industries based in Leicester, Le5 area.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and program fibre laser equipment to manufacture resistors according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of the laser equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and refine laser programs for new resistor designs.
- Monitor the production process, making necessary adjustments to maintain high-quality standards and meet production targets.
- Perform quality control checks on finished resistors to ensure they meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Document production data, including material usage, machine settings, and inspection results.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating and programming fibre laser equipment
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and interpreting technical specifications.
- Familiarity with laser programming software and CNC machinery.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high precision in a production environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety procedures.
Shifts and rates of pay:
- Monday – Thursday 7:30 – 16:45
- Friday -7:30- 12:30
- £13.00ph
