At our site in Berwick Upon Tweed we have a vacancy for a Production Supervisor.
Shift: Rotating - 4 Days On - 4 Days Off, 4 Nights On – 4 Nights Off,
Hours: 5.00 – 17.00/17.00 - 5.00
What does the role entail?
You will be responsible for the set up and operation of specific production lines supporting the delivery of Food Safety and the production plan, taking into consideration the available resources, quality, hygiene and health & safety requirements.
Who are we looking for?
You should have previous experience within a fast paced Food Production environment and in a Leader/Supervisory capacity and the ability to mentor individuals and teams. You should be self-motivated and a good influencer.
You should be an excellent communicator with the ability to also demonstrate good planning and administration skills and you should be PC literate with intermediate Excel skills.
Experience of Risk Assessing, certification in Food Hygiene & Safety and HACCP would also be advantageous.
Due to varied shift pattern flexibility to change shifts is essential.
