We have a fantastic opportunity for a veterinary receptionist to join our Wolverhampton Consulting Centre team on a full time basis. You would be joining a friendly team of vets, nurses, animal care assistants and receptionists.
As the face of the practice, the successful candidates will be responsible for making our clients feel welcome, and for ensuring that their needs are met in a friendly and professional manner. You will be positive and enthusiastic, with the ability to follow protocols to assist the smooth running of a busy practice.
The role is around 32 hours a week working Monday - Friday between 8am and 6.45pm along side 1 in 3 Saturdays working 8.45am until 4.15pm.
The duties of the Veterinary Receptionist include but are not limited to:
- Efficient telephone answering and service
- Handling client queries, making appointments, taking payments and diary management
- Cashing up at end of day
- All aspects of cleaning associated with front of house and ensuring H&S is adhered to in the reception area.
- Responding to emails & communicating messages to the appropriate department
- Debt management
- Administration of our Pet Health Club
