Production Staff – Timber System Manufacture
Location
8 Orgreave Close, Handsworth, Sheffield, S13 9NP.
Job Role
We are currently recruiting additional staff to join our production teams in our Sheffield Factory for the manufacturing of roof trusses, timber frame wall panels, engineered wood floor systems and all other associated production tasks.
Carpentry experience would be an advantage however training is provided.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a responsible attitude to health and safety.
- Have good technical knowledge and experience in reading production drawings.
- Have experience using hand held machinery e.g. nail guns.
- Have experience in assembling timber components.
- Have good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Have good understanding of quality control procedures.
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping.
- Have the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
- Have a good attendance record.
Working hours & remuneration package
Working hours – Typically 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Flexibility will be required from time to time.
Wages - to be discussed, dependant on experience.
Package
- 20 days holiday plus statutory holidays.
