Our range of software products help our customers in the rail industry to monitor and improve the rail networks. The company has been in existence for 7 years and currently employs 14 people, but due to its success, is growing fast.
About the Role
As a Project Manager at Incremental, you’ll be accountable in leading multifaceted software projects, ensuring that strategic and operational planning and implementation of delivery deadlines are met successfully, and business objectives are delivered to a consistently high standard. Working directly with and delivering to both our internal and external clients you’ll be responsible for project plans, managing risks, expectations and dependencies. You’ll be responsible for delivering a market leading, revolutionary software offering to the rail industry.
Main Duties
· Lead all project level dialogue with the client, suppliers and partners delivering projects from start to finish; planning, executing and supervising projects to meet management’s strategic objectives and ensuring project delivery to quality, within budget and on time
· Manage deployment, while mitigating risk for the customer
· Manage customer complaints, changing requirements and corrective actions, while avoiding “scope creep”
· Prepare a clear and effective communications plan, and ensure proactive communication of all relevant information to the customer and to all stakeholders
· Conduct thorough risk management for all project risks and opportunities
· Ensure that the project meets all objectives for quality and looks continuously for quality improvement and customer satisfaction
· Identify new opportunities to expand and renew contracts with the customer
· Complete the project closure and handover as required, and include: Complete contractual requirements, project warranty and lessons learned
· Work with the technical team to embed agile practices, optimise team performance and lead the team’s day-to-day dynamic programme landscape
Person Specification
Experience
· 5+ years Project Management experience
- 2+ years Scrum Master experience
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects in a commercial organisation
- Experience working in a technology company is highly desirable
- Proven experience of working collaboratively to ensure successful business outcomes
- Experience of working on rail projects or the rail sector is desirable
Knowledge, Ability and Understanding
- An excellent understanding of all aspects of the software development life cycle
- Strong agile project management experience in software development
- Strong analytical skills to problem solve and seek solutions
· Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload
· Excellent presenter and networker with the ability to deal effectively with a range of audiences and stakeholders by engaging in proactive and open stakeholder dialogue
· Excellent communicator, proficient in customer relations and competent at liaising effectively with all project stakeholders

Salary: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
