What does the role look like?
We have an exciting Production Shift Manager role to work for our Nacelles Value Stream. You will be responsible for the safe and effective running of Operations, ensuring key deliverables associated with business transformation for safety, quality, cost, delivery.
You will be from a process improvement mindset who has a passion for
coaching & developing high performing teams.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
- Ensure the efficient and safe running of your assigned module
- Monitor cell performance using real time OEE & look improve performance
- Responsible for the results of the module including OTIF, quality, OEE and cost
- Champion an improvement plan by including all members of the team & making them feel valued
- Provide accurate delivery forecasts to internal and external customers
- Actively develop team members to progress their careers & improve their knowledge
- Ensure all cells have robust capacity models
- Ensure TPM and FLM are complete on time.
- Create daily status reports for all cells and communicate with the operations manager
- Drive to close all EHS KPI’s and ensure employees are adhering to the companies EHS policies

What will you bring to the role?
Essential:
- Proven track record in developing & improving Production teams.
- Fantastic communicator who can engage at all levels.
- Ability to troubleshoot & problem solve.
- Good understanding of Lean/CI
Desirable:
- Demonstrated skills with a commitment to quality, delivery, team working and continuous improvement.
- Aerospace/Automotive experience would be advantageous.
- Six Sigma certification would be helpful but not essential.
- Demonstrated engagement in leading business transformation and change.
- A real leader who has the drive for success in a challenging and fast changing environment.
- Flexible and Adaptive to support all business needs,
- Formal management qualifications
