We have a fantastic opportunity for Production Planner to join our clients team based at their site in Sandbach!
Our client is a large fabrication company that prides itself in being able to offer stable, long-term employment in the area. Having been successful year upon year they are now looking to expanding their production planning team with the appointment of another Production Planner.
This role is being offered on a permanent basis, therefore meaning, you'll be employed directly by the client.
What you'll be doing:
You'll be part of the planning team responsible for the planning and preparation of production schedules for the manufacturing of each particular customers products and projects.
You'll be focusing on things like:
- Ensuring there is minimum downtime.
- Ensuring the product/project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensuring the appropriate use of resources.
- Maintaining strong and positive relationships with external suppliers to ensure the constant supply of required materials.
- Maintenance a strong and positive working relationship with the production. team and the appropriate managers to connect the required dots.
- Weekly and monthly meetings with production managers and leaders to get a report of progress of each project undertaken.
The ideal candidate will be someone with the ability to deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet production requirements.
Hours:
Monday to Thursday 07:30 till 16:30 and Friday 07:30 till 12:30.
33 holidays (including bank holidays) per year.
Pay:
£35,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience.
WEEKLY PAY - PAID EVERY FRIDAY.
+ £1000 signing bonus paid to successful applicants.
Skills/Experience required:
Previous experience as a production planner is required.
