Responsibilities as the Production Planner :

• Responsible for creating and maintaining a 4 week production plan for manufacturing
• monitoring the plan daily to ensure the its achieved.
• Monitor daily exceptions and plan in production accordingly to ensure the customer service metrics are achieved whilst delivering departmental KPI’s
• The planner will be supported by Area leaders in the delivery of the plan, and will be required to have regular communication with the production facility, monitoring schedule adherence and OEE
• Responsible for all manufactured products, both stocked and bespoke orders.
• Monitor raw material usage, stock holdings, raising and expediting orders to maintain stock availability to meet required metrics.

As the Production Planner you will have :

• You will have a professional approach to work, be team orientated with excellent organisational and motivational skills and be degree educated with proven production planning experience.
• You will be able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills and have the ability to process large amounts of data in Excel
• You will have a tenacious approach to problem solving while proactively seeking solutions.
• Previous experience with MRP systems and creating works orders is essential and usage of Sage X3 ERP is desirable but not essential for the role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
